|09:31 pm - Isn't it about time|
Wow, I finally got off my butt and updating. I may not update, but I still look at my friends and will comment here and there. I guess I feel since I blog my pictures on blogger that I really don't need to update here. Of course that couldn't be further from the truth. Here I can really post about anything that is going on in my mind, where on blogger my whole family reads............ So, there are some things that I really don't care for my mother to read about. And I'm sure there are many things my brother and careless about. Anyway, here I am.
Well, the first cool thing that is going on in my life is that I finally joined Weight Watcher 7 weeks ago and have lost almost 20 pounds. When I walked in for the first time I cried the whole time. Hell, I even cried on the car ride down there. I felt like such a failure because I couldn't lose weight by myself and I couldn't believe I allowed myself to get so big. By the second week I was feeling so much better. I LOVE WW. It doesn't take a genius to know that an apple is better for you that a snickers bar, but WW has giving me the drive to keep going even though I can't stick to anything for more than two weeks. There is something about have to have someone else weigh you every week that makes you stronger. Not to mention every time you lose 5 pounds you get a star sticker by your name and I want to get as many stars as I can get. I love getting stars :) Just so you know, I have worked my butt off to lose those 20 pounds. I exercise everyday and have completely changed my eating habits. I have about 15 more pounds to my pre-preggo weight, but I would like to lose another 20-30 more than that.
Okay, enough about WW................ My little ones are too cute. I'm not kidding when I say my little girl is so pretty. I love when we go to church because she is so pretty in her dresses. She is also started to talk a little bit. She can say no (her favorite), banana, apple, help, hello, Echo (her cousin that baby-sits her) grandpa, grandma, hot and of course, mama and dad. Gabriella is a daddy's girls. She has become very clingy these last couple of weeks. Olsen is still as cute and funny as ever (with the most beautiful eyes). But for some reason he thinks he doesn't have to listen or obey his mother. I swear, no matter how many times he is sent to his room or have a little swat on the behind, he just doesn't seem to get this rule will never change. I have him on a waiting list for a pre-school near by which I think will be good for him. He needs to get out with kids his own age and have fun. I do have play dates for him and he and Gabriella are in a tumbling class, but I think he needs more now.
Oh can you believe that Byron and I will be married for 5 years this June? I am oh so very in love with him. We are hoping that for our anniversary to go to Oahu for the day without the kids. Heck, maybe even stay over night and let the kids stay with grandma and grandpa.
Alrighty, done for now........
i thought you passed away.
whoops on the weight watchers, yes.
I couldn't take it there it was like a competition weighing inn front of eachother.
big luscious loves for y'all.
I am so glad you posted! I have missed your entries.
Isn't WW awesome? I was so upset that I had gotten to "that" place and had to go but I can't say enough good things about it. Best part? You don't feel deprived, you just make better choices. I am so proud of you! 20 lbs. is awesome. You should post pictures. :)
Wow, 20 lbs! That's a lot Marta. I'm so proud of you!!! You know, Amy and I was going to join Weight Watchers just to educate ourselves because I hear it's not really about dieting, it's just about making the right choices but we were clueless. Not sure why we never got around to signing up but for sure, once we give birth, we'll be signing up! Keep up the good work!
Wow, 5 years!! Where does the time go? Here's hoping for more happy years and more beautiful children to come ;)
So blast from the past and all, but I think you should update :)
